Saludos; Números; Ser y Tener; Capitales; Colores;

Bienvenidos al ultimo blog este semestre.
Vamos a practicar muchas cosas que hemos aprendido este semestre.

This link
goes to a site where you can practice Spanish phrases and greetings.

This number game  involves adding numbers to 20. It is a great way to cement your knowledge of the numbers 1 -20, especially those from 13-20.

Here you can practice the verbs 'Ser = to be' and 'Tener = to have'.

Our South and Central America capital city rap is a good way to remember information for this captial cities quiz.

Try this quiz to match colours and images by listening to and reading sentences. You will recognise much of the vocabulary used, plus learn some new Spanish words.

Hint: pensar = to think
         lo mismo = the same

Descripción de la gente

We have been studying different ways to describe ourselves and other people, from physical appearance -(height, stature, hair and eye colour) to 'personalidad'.

Read the descriptions below and then use what you have learned to write your own descriptions of Marcos and Juan in Spanish

This is Marcos. He's a nice boy who's always generous, sharing his morning donuts with the entire class. He's also very smart. He makes good grades and works hard, but he's sort of quiet and serious. Even though he's a little shy, he has lots of friends and plays sports.

This is Juan. He's different from Marcos. He'll talk your ear off, but he doesn't do so well in school. He's a little lazy, and he can act a little silly, but he's a good guy. And he has an interesting hobby: he collects ranas (frogs)! He has about 20 ranas in his house, and sometimes, he brings one to school in his mochila (backpack).

Ahora,  using the following word list and those in your Spanish books, describe Mr Bean, Patrick Star and Superman, in Spanish. You may find it helpful to work with a partner.
Por ejemplo

Señor Squidward es alto y delgardo. Él tiene los ojos rojos y grandes. Él es calvo.  Él es un amigo de Spongebob, a veces.
Señor Squidward es perezoso y antipático.

Él no es trabajador. Señor Squidward no es buena gente.

Ahora es tu toca.
