Carnaval de Cádiz

Cada año en febrero en Cádiz (Este año no tendremos carnaval ) hay una fiesta más grande se llama 'Carnaval de Cádiz'.

Cádiz is a city in the southwest of Spain and is the oldest inhabited city in Spain and one of the oldest in Western Europe. The city was founded in 1100 BC by the Phoenicians.

The carnival is believed to have been inspired by the carnival of Venice – a city with which Cádiz enjoyed prosperous trading relationships in the 16th century when its port was one of the most important in Spain.

The carnival contains street shows  (Flamenco en Cádiz ), dance and singing, diverse gastronomic (food) events,

parades, humorous singing shows, dance parties with fancy clothes in open air, firework displays, etc…
